Neurofeedback
A drugless, noninvasive way to retrain unhelpful brainwave patterns.
Neurofeedback is a reward-based cognitive training technique that has been shown to help with anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, migraines, memory loss, learning disorders, insomnia, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, autism, and other neurological disorders. Dr. Goldman holds advanced certifications in QEEG and Neurofeedback.
How does it work? You relax and watch a movie on the screen. When the brain shows the negative wave patterns we're trying to change, the screen darkens and the sound fades. When it shows the healthier patterns, the screen brightens and the audio returns. Over a course of sessions, the brain naturally builds new pathways toward the rewarded patterns.
Dr. Goldman first saw Neurofeedback results in his own family before bringing it into the practice. If you or someone close to you is looking for a drug-free option for any of the conditions above, schedule a Neurofeedback consultation.
